This bracelet was given to me from my grandmother. Thinking about the story behind the bracelet brings me joy. 

Snowboarding and shredding brings me joy. 

Horseback riding brings me joy. Horses are such loveable animals and are fun to be around. 

Going to the barn with my sister brings me joy. The barn is a place of peace and love.

Competitive sailing a J-class boat with my father brings me joy. Being on the boat is so relaxing and the wind in my hair is energizing.

Meeting the Mentor in Sketchbook

My mentor is Wolf Kahn. 

"In 1927, Wolf Kahn was born in Stuttgart, Germany. He immigrated to the US in 1940. Wolf Kahn graduated from the High School of Music & Art in New York in 1945. Wolf Kahn portrays nature using pastel and oil paint. He presents a story that draws me in. The colors he use are gentle and sweet. The pieces of nature are peaceful and quiet. When I see his artwork, it reminds me of camping with my family. My love for nature is demonstrated in his art work."
